more than just a place to enjoy the Game
The ice rinks are located in the Dix Hills Park (opened in 1964), which is on Vanderbilt Parkway in Dix Hills. The Park features 152 beautifully wooded acres, along with a 9 hole golf course, outdoor pool, summer day camp, picnic area, and a two mile trail. The original rink was built in 1974 and was subsequently enclosed years later. A second ice surface was added along with a building expansion in 2010. The new rink is home to the Dix Hills Mites.
